Foster to Adopt Rules and Requirements

Have you found an animal you like that is unavailable yet due to age or medical needs? This program allows you to foster the pet until it becomes available for adoption.

Once the pet is available for adoption, you will come in to complete adoption paperwork.

The pet is still legally the Humane Society’s until the adoption paperwork is done!

Must be 18 years or older

• Must live within Tippecanoe County

• All pets in your home must be up to date on vaccines and be spayed or neutered

• You may be required to bring in the pet when needed for any vaccines, surgeries, or medical needs it may have until the pet is adopted.
